.:Magi Oc:. Once upon a time... in the desert

  

 It took me ages to finish this! I watched the Sinbad no Bouken recently and obviously got hooked up on Magi again... I had to make a pic of a young Soraya and co. I don't know why I bothered putting so much detail into this!

 The scene is quite simple. During their adventures Sinbad and the "gang" are travelling in the desert and end up in Eion where they are hosted by the Rakhshas (Soraya's family). Hina and Mystros are somewhere around (it was too much to draw them too!) while Sinbad and Ja'far are being entertained by few of the Rakhshas. Sinbad (17) is obviously flirting with Parisa (Soraya's elder sister, 20 at the time) and discussing with Kaveh and Nima (the parents).  In the meantime Ja'far (12/13) is being bothered by a young Soraya (15). In the background on the left you can see Soraya's brothers: (from the left) Bahadur (21), Farzin (18), Kir (17).

This scene happens around 12 years before the beginning of the Magi serie.

Just to shed some light on the Rakhsha family:
Kaveh used to be a warrior of the desert that met a young half Fanalis slave (Nima) and fell in love with her. After spending all the money he had to set her free from her master he proposed to her and together they escaped the wars of the other Kingdoms finding a place to live in an oasis in the desert. Eventually, with time, some of Kaveh's old brother in arms joined them in the oasis with their families and so the small village of Eion was born. Eion doesn't count more then a hundred villagers and is a place where everybody knows everybody and because of its position in the middle of the desert it's sheltered from the wars.
Kaveh and Nima have eight children, and all of them have Fanalis features mixed with desert ones. (Pink eyes or hair for the Fanalis part and orange hair and dark skin for the desert part). 

Also (nearly forgot) the tattoo that Soraya and Kaveh have on their faces are removable, it is a symbol of the warriors of Eion.
All the other tattoos Soraya and Parisa have are permanent.
